Crossing the finish line at the 2026 MTB Showdown in 2 hours and 4 minutes was an incredible milestone for my very first competitive race . Showing up to the starting line wearing my oxygen, backed by the incredible support of my sponsors, I set out simply to give this cross-country course everything I had. What I didn’t expect was how far that ripple effect would go. Thanks to the amazing team at TBF Racing, this race marked the official debut of an entirely new division created to ensure adaptive athletes have a dedicated place on the trail.
